For the most part, I’m a drummer. A childhood obsession turned career has taken me around the world, multiple times over. I’ve played on records I would love to stumble across as a listener, and have been involved in performances I could never forget. Pat on the back for all that, and I'm still going.
Over recent years, a questioning of what it means to be a drummer has guided me towards new roles as a producer, unlocking a harmony, which it seems, had always been there.
I’ve a love for all great music, anything made with authenticity and individuality, and believe meaningful creation is in the careful crafting and enhancing of these two values.
Currently, I am active with the band King Hannah, and am working from my studio, The Nest, in North London. I endorse Istanbul Agop, Snareweight and Big Fat Snare Drum.
